Rachel Larson
Exercise and movement have always been a huge part of my life and have shaped who I am today. Growing up I couldn’t wait to get outside to run and play. Recess was the best time of the day and I always crushed end of year track and field competitions in elementary school!
Later in life I realized that what pulled me to exercise is the centering and calming effect it has on my mind and emotions. It makes my worries smaller and my possibilities bigger. Exercise helped me find peace, reduce the stress and anxiety in my mind and body and find happiness and contentment.
When I started teaching fitness classes in college it clicked. I can feel great and help others feel great too. I’ve been teaching fitness classes ever since. Exercise grounds us. It creates openings of possibility and freedom; hope and gratitude. It helps us be better people and find more joy and connection with others. This is why I teach and preach movement – to connect with people and share the love of exercise and all the good that comes from it.

Alice Halvorson
My passion for health and fitness started early with participation in gymnastics, dance and high school sports. I started craving physical exertion and enjoyed pushing myself to see what I could do. I grew to love working out and the positive community it created. In 2010, I made my passion a career and became a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. Since then, I’ve also received Boxing Fitness, Nutrition Coaching and Corrective Exercise Certifications.
I absolutely love teaching, guiding, and inspiring others to be healthy, strong and find their “fit potential”! To me, movement is our natural medicine and has the ability to heal, restore, invigorate, and optimize our minds and bodies. Welcome to Flostate!
